Coynes opened for business in 1950 and has grown to become one of the few remaining family-owned and operated transport companies in Melbourne.
General Manager, Steve Dean, who began working at Coynes as a fleet controller in 1998 believes being a family-owned and operated business is one of the company’s keys to success.
“Kevin’s (Coyne) here, and Chris (Coyne) is here – two people in the family-owned business that have their finger on the pulse,” he said.
“You don’t wait for someone to come in to action something – the decisions are made then and there.”
